The Concept of Signal strength meter was developed from analog electronics, like voltage dividers and comparators IC. The voice control was more of programming and simple connections to modules. We used IFTTT to connect to google. IFTTT is an application from google, which was connected to the radio via Blynk app, which was already connected to the radio via common Wi-Fi network. Some of the modules used and the final design video is shown below.
