The McDonald’s on Washington Street in Hoboken wants to shift from a 1 server 1 kiosk-based service system to a 2 server 1 kiosk or a 1 server 2 kiosk-based service system. Our goal for this project is to help them decide on which alternative of the two would be a good fit for themselves as well as the customers, based on its effect on some of the key parameters. Our modelling approach was to process the collected data to plot their CDF and PDF and then use MATLAB’s distribution fitter function to find the model it resembles, and then to use that model for further analysis.
